Welcome to my website!
I am an Associate Professor at the Deparment of Social Sciences at the University of Siegen. Before, I have been an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Political Science at Heidelberg University, a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Goethe University Frankfurt and an SNSF Early Postdoc.Mobility Fellow at the University of Amsterdam. I have earned a PhD in Political Science from the University of Bern (Switzerland) and a BA and MA degree in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz (Germany).
My research interests include political psychology, political sociology and comparative politics. My work has appeared in New Media & Society, Political Behavior, Political Psychology, West European Politics, European Political Science Review, Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Comparative European Politics, European Societies, Swiss Political Science Review and Politische Vierteljahresschrift.
I serve as spokesperson of the Working Group “Elections and Political Attitudes” of the German Political Science Association, member of the executive committee of the German Society for Electoral Research (DGfW) and member of the study coordination group of the German General Social Survey (ALLBUS).
